In early 2017, four young Danes discovered that all conventional chewing gum on the market is made from plastic and synthetic ingredients. They decided to make a change and founded True Gum to work on a plastic-free recipe themselves. The result: a delicious, vegan, plastic-free, biodegradable and sugar-free chewing gum based on chicle (sap of the Latin American sapodilla tree). Their mission: to change chewing gum for good – for people and the environment.
